Design for All Learners contributing author, Susi Miller, has developed the eLa1000 Accessibility Assessment — an initiative that aims to benchmark the accessibility of the Learning and Development (L&D) industry, and empower 1000 organizations to evaluate and enhance the accessibility of their learning content.
This assessment provides an opportunity to reflect on your accessibility practice while contributing to a broader understanding of accessibility across the sector. It takes about 10–20 minutes to complete. All data collected is anonymized, ensuring a safe space for honest reflection.
In return, you’ll receive your own customized eLa1000 Accessibility Assessment Report – a free, detailed assessment with tailored feedback, practical guidance, and useful resources to help your organization improve the accessibility and inclusivity of your learning content and strategic approach.
We’re already seeing strong engagement, but many current responses are from individuals who are already deeply committed to accessibility. To create a more accurate and inclusive picture, we also need input from those who may be earlier in their accessibility journey.
Whether you’re just getting started or have years of experience, your input matters — and it can help shape a more accessible future for everyone.
